The Corki Cycles TOPO extra large flat platform mountain bike pedals feature 9 pins on both the topside and underside of the pedal for enhanced traction. When the elements are howling and mud/rain are factors, enjoy superior traction. The Corki Cycles TOPO MTB pedals are suitable for downhill, freeride, all-mountain, slopestyle, and dirt jumping. Throw a Superman seat-grab landing flat on the pedals, with no shoe slippage.
When you're peddling to the metal you need strong and durable pedals. You don't want to exert that energy on flimsy, insecure, and unstable pedals. Our extra-large flat platform MTB pedals are built for every style of riding and are made to be super durable. Made using 6061 Aluminum with a chromium steel spindle the pedals can take a beating on the trails and still spin super smooth. The sealed internal chromium steel spindle keeps dust and grime out providing a longer-lasting component even in wet conditions.
Each pedal weighs 173g/6.1oz and as a pair 346g/12.2oz.
The Corki Cycles mountain bike pedals feature a 4-inch wide flat platform. Whether you have a wider foot or are looking for that larger pedal surface area. The Corki pedal's wide platform allows superior pedal driving force and greater control as you get low on that 90-degree turn.
To install the Corki Cycles MTB pedals you will need a wrench/spanner, and a little grease to keep the threads sweet. The pedals are a universal size fitting a 9/16” crank arm.
Take off your old pedals and check the crank arms threads before applying a little grease. Match the left and right pedal with the correct crank arm. Do not over-tighten. If in doubt visit your local bike shop to ensure correct installation and tightness. Remember if you over-tighten it affects your crank arms threads.
